E&#8217; situato nella cavit\u00e0 toracica, nello spazio compreso tra i polmoni chiamato <i>mediastino<\/i>, sternamente \u00e8 avvolto da una membrana detta <i>pericardio<\/i>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Il <i>cuore<\/i> presenta quattro cavit\u00e0 interne:<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">&#8211; due <i>atri<\/i> (destro e sinistro) posti superiormente<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">&#8211; due <i>ventricoli<\/i> (destro e sinistro) posti inferiormente.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">L&#8217;<i>atrio<\/i> e il <i>ventricolo<\/i> destro formano il <i>cuore<\/i> destro, che riceve e pompa sangue deossigenato; l\u2019<i>atrio<\/i> e il <i>ventricolo <\/i>sinistro formano il <i>cuore<\/i> sinistro, che riceve e pompa sangue ossigenato.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Il <i>cuore<\/i> destro e il cuore sinistro <span class=\"s1\"><i>non<\/i><\/span> sono in comunicazione e sono separati mediante un setto. Invece, le camere omolaterali (atrio e ventricolo destro \/ atri e ventricolo sinistro) comunicano tra loro attraverso le valvole.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Le <i>valvole cardiache garantiscono un flusso unidirezionale e<\/i> impediscono il reflusso del sangue negli atri quando i ventricoli si contraggono. Esse sono:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"ul1\">\n<li class=\"li4\">due <i>valvole atrio-ventricolari<\/i>, poste fra atri e ventricoli:<br \/>\n<i>valvola mitrale <\/i>o <i>bicuspide <\/i>tra atrio sinistro e ventricolo sinistro<br \/>\n<i>valvola tricuspide <\/i>tra atrio destro e ventricolo destro<\/li>\n<li class=\"li4\">due <i>valvole semilunari<\/i>, posizionate fra i ventricoli e le arterie maggiori:<br \/>\n<i>valvola aortica <\/i>tra ventricolo sinistro e aorta<br \/>\n<i>valvola polmonare<\/i> tra ventricolo destro e arteria polmonare.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"p1\">Il <i>cuore<\/i> esegue la sua funzione mediante fasi ritmiche di contrazione, dette <i>sistole <\/i>e di distensione, dette <i>diastole. <\/i><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">\n<p class=\"p1\">La <i>circolazione sanguigna<\/i> consente al sangue di fluire lungo tutto il corpo espletando due funzioni fondamentali: nutritiva e depurativa e pu\u00f2 essere:<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">&#8211; <i>chiusa<\/i>: il sangue circola sempre all&#8217;interno di vasi muniti di parete propria<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">&#8211; <i>doppia<\/i>: \u00e8 distinguibile una <i>piccola<\/i> e una <i>grande circolazione\u00a0<\/i><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">&#8211; <i>completa<\/i>: sangue ossigenato e deossigenato non si mescolano mai.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">La <i>circolazione sistemica<\/i> (o <i>grande circolazione<\/i>) trasporta il sangue ossigenato dal <i>cuore<\/i> ai tessuti: parte dal <i>ventricolo<\/i> sinistro fino ai capillari dove cede ossigeno e sostanze nutritive, raccoglie anidride carbonica e sostanze di rifiuto e ritorna nuovamente al <i>cuore<\/i> attraverso le <i>vene cave.<\/i><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">La <i>circolazione polmonare<\/i> (o <i>piccola circolazione<\/i>) trasporta il sangue deossigenato dal <i>cuore<\/i> ai polmoni: parte dal <i>ventricolo<\/i> destro e agli alveoli polmonari cede anidride carbonica, raccoglie ossigeno e ritorna al <i>cuore<\/i> attraverso le <i>vene polmonari.<\/i><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">RICORDA: le <i>arterie<\/i> trasportano sangue ossigenato (a eccezione delle arterie polmonari) dal <i>cuore<\/i> al resto dell\u2019organismo mentre le <i>vene<\/i> trasportano sangue deossigenato (a eccezione delle vene polmonari) dagli organi al <i>cuore<\/i>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>CUORE E CIRCOLAZIONE: scopriamo il motore del nostro corpo\u00a0 Il cuore \u00e8 un organo muscolare cavo che costituisce il motore dell&#8217;apparato circolatorio e permette la propulsione del sangue.
